Lottie Da products are professionally handmade from start to finish in Columbus, Ohio. Each piece is created one at a time, custom made just for you. Our production process is a group effort and each member of our small Lottie Da family plays a special role.
When you choose our company to create your dream nursery, you are getting the skills of a professional designer.
Owner/ Designer Amy Routh had over 10 years of professional design experience before starting Lottie Da. As a clothing designer for a national brand, she worked closely with textile designers to create beautiful collections and then traveled abroad to help source the best materials to use in production. Fabrics …..more importantly PRINT fabrics are still her passion and expertise. That’s where the bedding design process begins at Lottie Da. Amy spends months meticulously searching for the perfect prints and the best quality fabrics to use in each of her designs. That unexpected combination of fabrics, put together in just the right way is what makes our exclusive bedding collections stand out from our competitors.
You’ve fallen in love with our bedding and are ready to make the exciting purchase. What happens next?
Once we receive your order it is placed into the caring, capable hands of Stephanie, our Customer / Sales Manager. On top of handling all customer relations, Steph also manages our production calendar and processes the details of every order. She will make sure your bedding gets made just how you want it, and shipped on time while also keeping you updated throughout the process.
Cutting & Sewing
Based on the details of your order, we select the best quality materials available and prepare your order for production. Fabrics for each piece are cut by hand in our workroom and then passed off to one of our seamstresses. We have put great effort into building a team of reliable, highly skilled seamstresses. This group of talented ladies includes mothers and grandmothers with decades of professional sewing experience. They all enjoy the flexibility of working from home and supplementing their income while doing something they love!
Quality Control & Shipping
After the sewing is completed, Adam our Quality Control/Shipping Manager will closely examine each item before packaging. It is his job to make sure every stitch is secure and every thread is clipped. We want your bedding to be absolutely perfect and 100% ready to put on your crib as soon as your package arrives.
